Перепак № 2. Информация

Заменено 2 дублирующихся трека из Now 107 на правильные версии.
Перед вами - полная серия сборников Now That’s What I Call Music! - от первого выпуска (ноябрь 1983 г.) до Now That’s What I Call Music! 109 (июль текущего года).

Что входит:

-все выпуски в формате 2 CD;

-редкие версии на 1 CD для Now 4, Now 8 и Now 9 (включая Now 4 с обложкой, на которую подана заявка).

Что было сделано

- Работа оказалась непростой! Тщательно проверен каждый альбом:
исправлены имена исполнителей и названия треков там, где были ошибки;

- устранено повреждения аудио;

- добавлены файлы .cue и .m3u для тех, кто их использует;

включены изображения наилучшего доступного качества: низкокачественные сканы обработаны с помощью ИИ, а все изображения CD выравнены - теперь у каждого альбома есть хотя бы обложка.

Содержание загрузки
В этой загрузке - все хиты UK Top 40 за последние 38 лет (всего 4 465 треков) в высококачественном lossless‑формате FLAC.

Интересный комментарий о виниловых изданиях (с Discogs)
За примерно десять лет поздние виниловые выпуски серии Now (начиная с № 20) подорожали с £30–80 до £250+. Вероятно, эти выпуски печатались меньшими тиражами, чем издания 1980‑х. С возрождением популярности винила «святой грааль» для коллекционеров серии сменился: раньше это был Now 4 на CD, а теперь - Now 35 на виниле (последний выпуск на этом носителе, вышедший в конце 1996 г.).

Посчастливилось найти Now 34 на виниле в магазине подержанных вещей. Это один из любимых выпусков серии. Через две недели он всё ещё стоял на витрине - нетронутый и дешевле десяти фунтов. Правда, после № 22 остался большой пробел - и вряд ли он сократится.

Несколько месяцев назад, во время карантина, решил послушать Now 34 на проигрывателе. Многие отмечают, что из‑за большого числа треков на дюйм звуковой качество поздних виниловых выпусков крайне низкое. На полной громкости звучание Now 34. При этом любые щелчки или помехи звучали так, будто рядом взрывают фейерверки.

Так что, если вы всерьёз подумываете заплатить трёхзначную сумму за поздние виниловые выпуски Now, подумайте ещё раз. Вы действительно собираетесь их слушать? Даже кассетные версии, вероятно, звучат лучше (хотя и они не застрахованы от спекуляций - кто‑нибудь хочет Now 63 на кассете?).
