"Around the World in a Day" - седьмой студийный альбом американского музыканта Принса и третий с его группой The Revolution. Он был выпущен 22 апреля 1985 года Paisley Park Records и Warner Bros. Records. В отличие от коммерческого звука его предыдущего выпуска, массово успешного "Purple Rain" (1984), на этом альбоме Принс экспериментировал с психоделическими стилями и более роскошными текстурами. В соответствии с пожеланиями певца, звукозаписывающая компания выпустила альбом с минимальной рекламой, удержав сопровождающие синглы до почти месяца после выхода альбома. "Around the World in a Day" получил заметно более сдержанный прием по сравнению с громким успехом "Purple Rain", хотя он, тем не менее, продавался относительно хорошо, в конечном счете, стал двойной платиной и вторым альбомом Принса попавшим на верхушку Billboard 200. Принс Роджерс Нельсон (англ. На протяжении большей части своей карьеры выступал под именем Принс, но использовал также и множество псевдонимов.
По всему миру продано более 100 миллионов копий его альбомов. Лауреат семи премий «Грэмми», премий «Оскар» и «Золотой глобус». В 2004 году имя Принса было занесено в Зал славы рок-н-ролла.
